Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Tailored to Meet Your Needs
PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Kelly is not accepting clients in her private practice at this time and will be slow to respond to inquiries. This page will be updated when her private practice is active again. Thank you.
What to Expect
My approach to therapy is transparent, collaborative, and values-based. My first goal is to understand your needs and what you hope to gain from our work together. I draw from a wide range of evidence-based techniques shown to foster change, self-understanding, and reduction in emotional suffering. How therapy unfolds will be guided by your goals, strengths, and unique experiences. Our first few sessions will be spent identifying these goals and determining if we are a good fit. We will continue to monitor progress throughout our work together and adjust as needed. In the end, I hope that you will gain a sense of flexibility and freedom in approaching challenges and a deeper connection with your values and relationships.
I have a range of therapeutic techniques to inform our unique work together. Evidence-based therapies are those that have been extensively researched and found to be effective at treating specific problems. I primarily work with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I would be happy to discuss these approaches with you further.
