About Dr. Kelly
Dr. Kelly specializes in working with individuals across the life span. Guided by an individual or couple's cultural background and personal values, Dr. Kelly provides an environment in which clients can learn new techniques to cope with stress, explore difficult emotions, and increase their connection to a sense of fulfillment. She provides evidence-based treatments and aims to empower clients as they navigate change and growth. Dr. Kelly has a special interest in working with women who are navigating challenges related to pregnancy, perinatal, and postpartum issues.
Dr. Kelly received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium and her postdoctoral fellowship from Stanford University School of Medicine. She completed additional training at Sharp Healthcare in San Diego and the San Francisco and Palo Alto VA Healthcare Systems. Dr. Kelly earned the 2016 Dissertation Award in Clinical Innovation for her pilot study of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for perfectionism and anxiety in young women. Her research on perfectionism and self-compassion continues to inform her ongoing work in women's mental health.
Prior to starting her private practice, Dr. Kelly was clinical faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in Comprehensive DBT.
